City kitchen provides low cost meals to the Burnie community from our location at the Burnie Baptist Church
Doorways provides emergency relief and holistic case management with referral to internal and external support services. It aims to support people as they seek to make changes in their lives. We believe everyone has the capacity to change and Doorways caseworkers walk alongside people as they develop plans to achieve their goals.
A Safe Place. Jireh House is a welcoming, supportive 24 hour crisis accommodation and support service for women and children who have become homeless due to domestic violence and other life crises.
The Caring Network is registered as an emergency relief organisation to provide aid to members of the West Tamar community, we also run a community Op Shop.
The Tasmania Fire Service’s Community Education Unit delivers a number of programs in the community to enhance community safety. These programs are free-of-charge.
